I despise the MPAA – there’s no consistency in how the rate films, and they’re unfair to films that put out good work. Sin City’s sequel, A Dame To Kill For, is being berated by the MPAA for a poster featuring Eva Green in a typical movie poster pose.

According to Deadline, The disapproval is “for nudity — curve of under breast and dark nipple/areola circle visible through sheer gown.” While no one should dispute the fact that, well, that’s what the poster is doing visually, it still doesn’t follow the pattern of other movie posters doing this exact same thing and getting their rating of “R” or below, which leads to funding.

If this was a poster for My Little Pony, then yeah, I would get the MPAA’s decision. But this is Sin City! Doesn’t the title already imply this? Mystique was much more revealed then Eva Green is.

What do you think? Is this poster too sexy for the theaters or does it look any different from the other posters with “Adult Content?”
