I despise the MPAA – there’s no consistency in how the rate films, and they’re unfair to films that put out good work. Sin City’s sequel, A Dame To Kill For, is being berated by the MPAA for a poster featuring Eva Green in a typical movie poster pose.

According to Deadline, The disapproval is “for nudity — curve of under breast and dark nipple/areola circle visible through sheer gown.” While no one should dispute the fact that, well, that’s what the poster is doing visually, it still doesn’t follow the pattern of other movie posters doing this exact same thing and getting their rating of “R” or below, which leads to funding.

If this was a poster for My Little Pony, then yeah, I would get the MPAA’s decision. But this is Sin City! Doesn’t the title already imply this? Mystique was much more revealed then Eva Green is.

What do you think? Is this poster too sexy for the theaters or does it look any different from the other posters with “Adult Content?”

Before your nerd rage goes into over-drive, realize that this image is, in fact, sarcasm. It’s obvious Wonder Woman is the film comic book fans want – generally at least. With the right director behind the wheel and a fantastic writer as well, Wonder Woman has the potential of being the best superhero film ever made.

Of course those conditions could apply to every superhero movie, huh? I think the reason why people want a Wonder Woman movie so bad is because of how incredible her character is and how she’s constantly getting the shaft from WB. DC Comics treats her well, but for some reason a movie seems to be unrealistic to the movie makers.

In any case, all the reason for NOT making a Wonder Woman film are wrong.

Well now, here’s a new one.  Should we be surprised though?  We have movies about human centipedes, famous presidents chopping up vampires, and girls falling in love with zombies, what’s a movie about squirrels taking over the world gonna hurt?

Director Timur Bekmambetov is putting together a film on this very subject, proof with the trailer below.  You might recognized his directorial trademark through a recent cinematic release title Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter.  For me, a film like this is right up my alley.  I’m not a huge fan of horror movies unless they have a humorous twist.  Cabin in the Woods is an excellent example. But before you go on, please, watch the trailer be ready to ask, “really?”

The truth is there have many suspenseful movies made about animals attacking humans which have done quite well.  Alfred Hitchcock’s “Birds” for example.  So who’s to say this is going to be one big flop.  From what I can tell, I’m going to laugh the whole way through , which is what it seems bent on doing.

But maybe this is a diversion by the the REAL threat…killer cows from outer space! Stay alert everyone, those cows are after us!
