Anything and everything I say here on Heretical Jargon about Steve Jobs can be found pretty much anywhere else on the web.  I’m not unique or have any fantastic insight into Steve Jobs life a career.  I’m simply a fan of his work. So I’m happy that you computer geeks and Apple lovers are giving my site some extra hits that I wouldn’t have gotten had I posted about Superman, Batman, or how much I hate Grant Morrison.  So, thank you!

I’m a huge fan of Jobs as I use an EMac computer for all my recording needs and visual art needs.  He is also one of the reasons the greatest animation studio in the world, Pixar, is in existence today.  His creative resume goes on for miles.

Of course, there will always exist the great divide of people who will NEVER use apple products, versus those who embrace it.  I’m one of those proud weirdos who supports Apple and the far superior products they make in comparison to…well…every other home computer in the world.  As much as South Park, Mad TV, and SNL made fun of him, he is without a doubt the most innovative mind in computer technology of the century.

Jobs died of Pancreatic cancer on October 5th, 2011.  The location of his death had not been publicized at the time I wrote this blog post, but I’m sure by the time any of you sees this, that missing piece of information will be rectified and made public.  For a more DEATAILED report of Steve Jobs death, visit the Washington Post’s Website.

I bought my EMac computer in 2004, and it’s still running just as smoothly and perfectly to this day. Seven years of not having a single computer problem.  Thank Steve!  Rest In Peace.
