Every year my wife and I come to see her family, in which case we commence with a Janssen Family cook-off. We’re paired off into teams of two and cook a meal. Once it’s all done, by the end of the visit, we tally all the points up after judging and one winning team brings home the traveling trophy. There’s only one team left to go, and it’s my wife and my sister-in-law’s husband. This morning, however, Myself and my father-in-law went to town with a much lighter breakfast meal consisting of eggs, potatoes, and a fruit platter, with a nice little cute surprise at the end.
